Lea Sellers is a media trainer and communications consultant.
She runs workshops at the Dubai International Writers’ Centre as well as moderating at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature.
Her background is in television news and current affairs where she produced programmes such as Newsnight and Question Time for the BBC and was Deputy Foreign Editor of Channel 4 News specialising in Russia and the Middle East. For the BBC Trust, she worked on impartiality reviews of Israeli-Palestinian reporting, BBC Arabic TV and BBC Persian TV.
She founded Media Skills for Women with Rosalind Adler in 2010 and uses her television knowledge and experience to train people to communicate with confidence when they speak in public or engage with the media.
She has a degree in Russian Studies, an MA in International Relations and an MA in Screenwriting.
In her spare time, she writes feature film scripts and plays. She lives in London.
