Nadia Sawalha is a bestselling author, columnist, television actor and presenter.

She rose to fame as Annie Palmer in EastEnders, before becoming a popular television presenter. In 2007, she won Celebrity Masterchef and then hosted Junior Masterchef. She appears regularly on Lorraine, is the resident cook on The Alan Titchmarsh Show, and has hosted two weekend cookery shows for ITV, Saturday Cookbook, and Sunday Scoop. Sawalha is also a member of ITV’s Loose Women.

Through her cookery columns in the Daily Mirror and Best magazine, she reaches a combined audience of two million a week.

Sawalha’s bestselling books include Stuffed Vine Leaves Saved My Life, in which she shares her favourite Middle Eastern recipes; Greedy Girl’s Diet and its follow-up, Greedy Girl’s Diet: Second Helpings!: Fab Food Fast for a Slim Life, both of which include anecdotes and tips from Sawalha on cooking guilt-free food for individuals and families.

In her upcoming book Fabulous Family Food, Sawalha shares over 100 easy-to-cook recipes for busy women, all of which she tested on her own family.
