She first established herself as a leading actress starring in numerous high profile TV dramas including Holby City, Spooks and Dangerfield. In 2010 Faulkner won BBC 1′s Celebrity MasterChef and has since gone on a remarkable food journey.
In 2012, Faulkner’s first cookery book was published, Recipes From My Mother For My Daughter and became an instant bestseller, reaching number one in The Times non-fiction list. Faulkner’s second cookbook The Way I Cook was published in September 2013. Her third book, Tea and Cake was published in February 2015 also becoming a bestseller on The Times non-fiction list.
Faulkner has presented a number of TV programmes, including What’s Cooking?, has cooked in the This Morning kitchen and is a regular face on the Food Network; in 2014 she presented The Big Eat.
Faulkner has also anchored a number of food strands including Coastal Cottage, Comfort Cottage and Hollywood Menu. She is passionate about cooking with children and in 2015 her new series Crash My Kitchen launched on CBBC.
Faulkner’s cookery skills are highly sought after for live demonstrations at food events including Good Food Live, The Cake & Bake Show and the Ideal Home Show.
