Inkstains on the edge of light

Palestinian filmmaker and writer Hind Shoufani is the founder of the Poeticians collective, an elastic group of bold writers who perform in monthly events in different bars, cultural hubs, cities and festivals.

Shoufani is the author of two books of poetry, titled More Light than Death Could Bear and Inkstains on the Edge of Light; she is currently working on her third book.

In 2012, she edited the first anthology of the Poeticians, Nowhere Near a Damn Rainbow, published by xanadu* in 2012. In 2014, she edited and commissioned the Uncommon Dubai guidebook, a collection of literary writing and art photography from over 30 contributors in Dubai.
