Al Hanouf Mohammed Book 1Al Hanouf Mohammad is a UAE poet and writer from Dubai. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts at the UAE University – Al Ain, majoring in English Language and Literature.

Mohammad has written three collections of poetry, Skies, Walls and Wind of Joseph and a travelogue, The Road to Japan, one of the first books to be released from MBRF’s UAE-Japan Writers Exchange Program.

Mohammad has served as a jury member in numerous competitions in the UAE. She is also a board member and a cultural officer at the Emirates Writers Union, a member of the Arab Writers Union, a board member and head of the culture and media committee at Dubai Folklore Theater.

Mohammad has participated in a number of poetry nights in the UAE and has represented her country at GCC level in Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and at Arab level in Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco and also at international level in Japan. She also participated in the fifth The Poetic Heart global forum when it was held in Dubai.
